Here, in no particular order, are the books that I've loaded onto my Kindle for Spring Break (which began at noon today!). These are almost all adult titles—it's vacation, I can be a grown up!
Secret Society Girl/Under the Rose/Rites of Spring (Break)/
Tap & Gown by Diana Peterfreund
At one point I owned the first book in this series in paperback, but I can't locate it now, so Kindle it is. I LOVED Rampant by Diana Peterfreund, and vacation is the perfect time to read this series. It's also nice to read a series straight through and not have to wait for the next book. I bought these two weeks ago and it's been a struggle not to start reading them right now!
Tears of Pearl by Tasha Alexander
I'm not sure why I've only read these on my Kindle, especially since I have two friends that ask for them regularly. These are quality historical mysteries with enough romance to keep me reading.
The Dead Travel Fast by Deanna Raybourn
No Lady Julia, but I can live with that. For now. I love love love the Lady Julia books, so I know I'll love this one.
Admission by Jean Hanff Korelitz
Okay, so technically I'm not reading this on my Kindle since I bought it in hardcover last year when it was released. The author is a friend of mine, so I bought it on release day. I am excited to finally read this since YA books keep cutting the line.
The Girl Who Played With Fire by Stieg Larsson
I'm pretty sure that I'm going to wait and read this book and the third one after school gets out in June, to celebrate being an adult for two months.
Some Girls Bite by Chloe Neill
I think this was an accidental/lucky Amazon discovery, but it's set it Chicago so I'll give it a shot.
Nice Girls Don't Have Fangs by Molly Harper
I downloaded this based on the recommendation on Jennifer Lynn Barnes blog.
Something About You by Julie James
I think this was a Book Smugglers find.
Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake by Sarah MacLean
I follow her on Twitter, thus, I buy her new book.
Now, I may or may not get to all of these books. I also might like one of them so much that I go on an obsessive tear and read all of that author's titles. But I'm pretty sure I'll get to most of them eventually; check back here to find out what I thought.
